Middle East Kaolin Market Sees Mixed Fortunes in 2024

The Middle Eastern kaolin market experienced a mixed bag of fortunes in 2024. While exports surged and imports grew, production and consumption both witnessed a slight downturn.

Kaolin exports in the Middle East rebounded in 2024, rising by X% to X tons. This recovery follows a peak of X tons in 2022. Turkey remained the region's top exporter, shipping X tons, while Iran emerged as the fastest-growing exporter from 2012 to 2024.

Central Eastern Europe's leading kaolin and kaolin slurry exporters were the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland. The Czech Republic displayed steady growth in exports from 2012 to 2024, while Slovakia showed moderate growth and Poland experienced fluctuating volumes over the same period.

The United Arab Emirates was the Middle East's key importer in 2024, bringing in X tons. Overall, kaolin imports in the region increased by X% to X tons. Despite the growth in exports and imports, kaolin production and consumption both recorded a slight descent in 2024.

After four years of decline, the Middle Eastern kaolin market grew by X% to $X in 2024. While exports and imports increased, production and consumption both showed a slight decrease. The United Arab Emirates remained the key importer, while Turkey and Iran led exports. The import price of kaolin decreased by X% to $X per ton.
