Microsoft Rolls Out Performance Boosting Updates for Surface Pro 3 & Surface 3
Microsoft has rolled out updates for Surface Pro 3 and Surface 3 devices, addressing software issues and enhancing performance. The updates, released this weekend, enable Windows 10 to function smoothly on these tablet laptops.
The Surface Pro 3 updates include a UEFI update for new Windows 10 features, wireless network controller and Bluetooth driver updates for improved stability and performance, and a SATA AHCI Controller driver update for deployment stabilization. Meanwhile, the Surface 3 updates bring enhancements to Surface Cover experience, audio performance, Surface pen settings, camera quality, display stability, and wireless network connectivity.
The updates are delivered automatically through Windows Update, but users can also install them manually in five steps. A device restart may be required. Microsoft delivers updates in stages, so not every device receives them at the same time.
The Surface Pro 3 and Surface 3 updates address software issues and improve performance, ensuring a better user experience with Windows 10. The updates are available now, either automatically or through manual installation.
