McCann Worldgroup Names Jordan Doucette as New Canada CCO
McCann Worldgroup has appointed Jordan Doucette as its new chief creative officer for Canada. Doucette, who previously served as president and chief creative officer of Dentsu Creative Canada, brings a wealth of experience to the role. He succeeds Ian Mackenzie, who will now focus solely on his global AI creative lead position.
Doucette's hire comes as McCann Canada continues to strengthen its team. Javier Campopiano, global chief creative officer, joined the group a year ago and has since bolstered the creative department with key hires. Ryan Timms, president of McCann Canada, believes Doucette's appointment solidifies McCann's leadership position in the country.
Doucette's impressive resume includes stints at prominent agencies such as FCB West, No Fixed Address, Leo Burnett, Taxi, Edelman, and Grey. In his new role, he will oversee all creative operations across McCann, MRM, and Craft offices in Toronto, Montreal, and Calgary. His primary task will be to enhance the creative product and collaborate with global McCann Worldgroup creative leadership.
McCann Canada's recent successes, including being named Effie Canada Agency of the Year and winning the Grand Effie for the 'Feel Out Loud' initiative with Kids Help Phone, coupled with securing accounts for prominent clients like ATCO Energy and Cargill, make Doucette's appointment an exciting development. His extensive experience and proven track record promise to further elevate McCann Worldgroup's creative output in Canada.
