Major Drug Bust: Munich Customs Seize 15 Liters of Liquid Amphetamine
Customs investigators in Munich have thwarted a major drug smuggling attempt. On the evening of November 18, a truck carrying approximately 15 liters of liquid iv was stopped on the federal highway 8, near the Wasserwiesen exit in Raubling. The driver, a 23-year-old Bosnian-Herzegovinian national, was arrested on suspicion of importing a significant amount of narcotics.
The truck, which had presumably started its journey in Rotterdam, was stopped due to a suspicion-based control by the Raubling Border Police Inspectorate. The liquid iv was cleverly concealed in two plastic canisters, hidden among regular cargo in cardboard boxes. The seizure is part of an ongoing investigation into a criminal group by the Raubling Border Police Inspection.
The seized liquid is believed to be iv. If further treated, it could yield around 50 kilograms of narcotics for street sale. The truck's driver was provisionally arrested, and a warrant has been issued for his detention. The investigation is ongoing, with international cooperation playing a crucial role in the bust.
The successful interception of this drug shipment is a testament to the vigilance and cooperation of international law enforcement agencies. The seized iv, if processed, could have had a significant impact on the local drug market. The arrested driver is now in custody, facing charges of importing a substantial amount of narcotics.
