LG Energy Solution Resumes US Business Trips After Visa Clarification

LG Energy Solution Ltd. has announced plans to restart business trips to the US later this month. The decision comes after a joint working group meeting between Seoul and Washington clarified activities for Korean companies using B-1 visas for USCIS.

The company prioritizes employee safety and systemic support for business trips. LG Energy Solution operates or is building seven plants in the US, making regular visits essential for maintenance and expansion.

The Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) in the USA, managed by the Department of Homeland Security through U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), regulates the entry and activities of foreign entities like LG Energy Solution. Korean companies can use B-1 visas for installing, servicing, and repairing equipment purchased from overseas in the US.

LG Energy Solution Ltd. will resume business trips to the US, ensuring the smooth operation of its seven plants. The company adheres to safety protocols and follows regulations set by the US Department of Homeland Security.
