As a Group Leader in Service, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of this esteemed financial institution, which is a member of the successful S-Finance Group.

The role requires strong leadership and team management skills, as the Group Leader will oversee and lead a team of customer service specialists or bank clerks, ensuring high-quality service delivery to clients. Operational oversight is also essential, with the Group Leader managing daily operations within the assigned service area, including customer interactions, transaction processing, and service standards.

Process optimization is another key responsibility, with the Group Leader expected to identify and implement improvements in service processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. In addition, the Group Leader will act as a point of escalation for complex customer inquiries or issues, maintaining and building strong client relationships.

Compliance and risk management are also crucial aspects of the role. The Group Leader must ensure that all banking operations comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements. To be considered for the role, candidates should possess a completed vocational training focused on banking or a comparable qualification, advanced theoretical qualifications, or several years of professional experience in a comparable field. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate strong leadership skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills in German (and ideally English), a high level of service orientation and commitment to customer satisfaction, and analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards in Germany, familiarity with banking software and digital tools, reliability, and flexibility are also essential.
