Launts Tossini's newly established venture in Monferrato, concentrating on exporting Ligurian foccaccia.

Hell, I'm here! So, let's get to it.

Making Ligurian Focaccia, especially the delicacy from Recco, a global phenomenon is the bloody ambition that Tossini - a company rooted in Liguria since the late 1800s, and still steered by the freakin' same family - has set its sights on.

It ain't been a walk in the park, no siree! Especially after a effin' fire burned down one of their production sites last year. But guess what? They're back in the game now with a new manufacturing site in Piedmont, ready to rock by 2026.

Originally, this joint was the brainchild of Fortunato, who kicked off a small artisanal operation in his bakery in Camogli in 1899. It later moved to Recco, and in 1976, brothers Luigi and Maurizio Tossini decided to shake things up, transforming the bakery into an industrial beast while preserving its artisanal vibe.

Now, for you folks who are interested in the business side of things, the group, which includes the third generation with kids and grandkids, has got itself all structured. They've got an industrial bakery company, headquartered in Recco with plants in Avegno and Savignone, and an artisanal-commercial company managing ten retail points along the Ligurian Riviera. Four in Recco, one in Sori, three in Rapallo, one in Chiavari, and one in Sestri Levante.

In 2020, they launched a massive industrial project, investing 9 million euros over five years to support their bloody internationalization process. The plan included renovating the Avegno and Savignone plants, a new packaging line, and increased production capability to back established clients and increase exports within and outside the EU.

Oh, and just so you know, Tossini seems to be a familiar name in the European and North American flatbread arena. They're probably a badass bakery or food production company, but we couldn't find specific details about their history, recent moves, or international expansion freakin' plans.

Still, they're already making a name for themselves in both those continents. As for future plans, it's all under the bloody wraps.

  • Tossini, a Ligurian company with a century-long history, is investing in expanding their influence in the global food-and-drink market.
  • The business, now managed by the third generation, has structured itself with an industrial bakery company and an artisanal-commercial company, aiming to increase exports and establish itself as a key player in the European and North American flatbread sector.
  • In addition to their state-of-the-art production facilities in Piedmont and their existing plants in Recco, Avegno, and Savignone, Tossini has also invested 9 million euros over five years to improve packaging and increase production capacity, further enhancing their ability to penetrate the international market and grow their finance portfolio.
