Hear ye, hear ye! According to the rumor mill at Poslovni Dnevnik, Accession Capital Partners (ACP) has agreed to drop a whopping 30 million euros in growth equity on the largest Croatian veterinary group, Vetti. This move aims to bolster Vetti's position as the dominant bark in the region.
Vetti Group is no stranger to the veterinary world, with majority ownership largely resting on the shoulders of Luxembourg's ASEF S.C.Sp., managed by Croatia's very own Provectus Capital Partners.
Marko Mitrović, a partner at ACP, is pumped about the investment, stating, "This deal will help cement Vetti's leading position in the market and support the fantastic work of their management team. It's all good for the sector and opens the door for further collaborations with Provectus."
Running multiple clinics and veterinary practices in over 35 locations across Croatia and Serbia, Vetti is hell-bent on consolidating its market and expanding into new territories.

Marko Galić, a partner at Provectus, agrees, "The investment from AMC will give us the extra dough to keep marching forward with our strategy, investing in top-notch talent and facilities – just the sort of thing Vetti's known for."
Provectus Capital Partners is a key player in the Southeastern European venture capital scene, with offices in Zagreb, Bucharest, and Sofia. Since 2020, they've been managing investments through six platforms from ASEF.In the second half of 2025, they'll be launching PCP SEE Fund II S.C.Sp., their second fund focusing on Southeastern Europe, with a target size of a cool 200 million euros. ACP Group too, is dipping into its fifth fund, AMC V SCA SICAV-RAIF, which closed last June with a massive 336 million euros under its belt. To date, it's invested ten deals across Central Europe and has sunk 60 percent of its assets.

It all started for Vetti in March 2023 when they made their first acquisition, the Buba veterinary clinic in Zagreb. Fast forward to the end of 2023, and they'd scooped up six more companies across Zagreb, Split, Đakovo, and Virovitica.
The grand unveiling of Buba by Vetti Group went down in December 2023, setting the stage for Vetti as the largest full-time private veterinary clinic in Zagreb. The following month, they welcomed SplitVet, a small animal vet practice specializing in orthopedics, into the fold. In April, they added ZAG-VET, a veterinary station with a small and large practice, a pharmacy, and the nearby Luč Zagorja animal shelter, to their roster.

A mere month later, Pet-Vet specialist small animal vet clinic from Split and the Zagreb City Veterinary Station with its clinics and pharmacies in five locations in Zagreb jumped aboard. Then came the veterinary clinic in Ogulin and the veterinary clinic in Gornja Bebrina.
This year, Vetti tackled new horizons by acquiring Vet Planet Clinic in the Serbian capital of Belgrade. With this acquisition, Vetti, the largest Croatian veterinary group (we're not kidding), now boasts 18 members, over 300 employees, and 30 locations across Croatia and the surrounding areas.

As for the numbers, Vetti ended 2024 with revenues of 3.07 million euros, representing a 61.23 percent increase compared to the previous year, according to Fina. The company also saw an increase in their Croatian workforce, clocking in at 77 employees in 2024.

This investment from ACP will bolster Vetti's position in the finance sector and support its business expansion, as stated by Marko Mitrović, a partner at ACP. Furthermore, the extra funds will allow Vetti and Provectus to keep investing in top-notch talent and facilities, as expressed by Marko Galić, a partner at Provectus.
