Kubota Shatters Tractor Sales Records with 47.6% Year-on-Year Increase in September 2025
Kubota, a leading agricultural machinery manufacturer, has shattered records with a staggering 47.6% year-on-year increase in tractor sales in September 2025. This remarkable growth is attributed to favorable rural conditions and supportive government policies.
The company's success is reflected in the domestic stock market, where tractor sales soared by 48.5% to 17,803 units in September 2025 compared to the same period last year. This surge follows an impressive 47.6% increase from September 2024, when 12,380 tractors were sold.
Kubota's subsidiary, Escorts Kubota Limited, has been instrumental in driving this growth. The company sold a record 18,267 tractors in September 2025 alone, demonstrating its dominance in the tractor market. This achievement is bolstered by strong domestic and export growth, with export sales rising by 17.5% to 464 units in the same month.
The recent reduction in Goods and Services Tax (GST) rates on tractors and farm machinery has further boosted market sentiment. Kubota remains confident in sustaining this remarkable momentum for the remainder of the year, boding well for the agricultural sector and the company's future prospects.
