Krasnoyarsk Construction Firm Challenges Permit Cancellation for 8-Storey Residential Building
A legal dispute has arisen in Krasnoyarsk, with a local construction company, ООО 'Инвест-Капитал', challenging the cancellation of a permit for an 8-storey residential building. The company has filed a lawsuit, alleging violations of the Russian Градостроительного кодекса.
The dispute centres around a permit initially granted for the 'reconstruction of an unfinished multi-storey residential building' in the region. This permit was later revoked by the local urban planning authority in July 2025, following a protest from the regional prosecutor's office. The reason cited was non-compliance with approved architectural plans.
ООО 'Инвест-Капитал' has taken the matter to court, seeking to have the cancellation declared invalid. The company argues that the cancellation was carried out in violation of the relevant codes. The preliminary hearings for this case have been scheduled for 27 October.
The case, now accepted for production by the Arbitration Court of the Krasnoyarsk Region, will determine the legality of the permit cancellation. The outcome may have significant implications for future construction projects in the region.
