Krasnodar Krai Assembly Adopts Energy Conservation Plan to Combat Rising Prices
The Krasnodar Krai Legislative Assembly has adopted a decision to systematically implement energy conservation measures. Chairman Yuri Burlačko and Acting Minister Vyacheslav Shaposhnik discussed the plans, which include an energy audit of social institutions and administrative buildings, and the introduction of modern lighting systems, automatic heat regulation, and facade insulation. The aim is to mitigate rising energy prices and improve energy efficiency.
The decision aims to comprehensively carry out energy conservation work. Implementing energy-efficient and energy-saving technologies can help control the trend of rising energy prices. The Governor of Krasnodar Krai will have the power to approve the regional energy conservation program and develop and implement related programs. However, amendments to the regional law are necessary to align it with federal legislation and expand the Governor's powers in energy conservation and efficiency.
Yuri Burlačko noted that energy conservation and efficiency is no longer just a technical matter. Energy conservation was the first topic proposed for discussion at the plenary session. The rise in energy prices is inevitable due to current realities and external pressure on the country.
The Krasnodar Krai Legislative Assembly has taken a significant step towards energy conservation and efficiency. The adopted decision, along with the planned energy audit and implementation of modern systems, seeks to control rising energy prices and improve energy efficiency. The region is committed to comprehensive energy conservation work, with the Governor playing a key role in its development and implementation.
