**Kia EV4 Electric Sedan Set to Debut in Australia in 2025**

The Kia EV4, a new 4-door electric sedan, is poised to make its debut in Australia next year. With a length of approximately 4730 mm and a weight of around 1745 kg, the EV4 promises to offer an affordable yet capable electric vehicle (EV) experience.

The EV4 will be powered by a single front-mounted electric motor producing about 204 PS (201 bhp / 150 kW) and 283 Nm of torque. The battery options for the EV4 are expected to be in the range of roughly 58 kWh to 81 kWh, similar to the battery packs of the recently released EV3. However, the exact range of the EV4 has not been confirmed and is likely to be somewhat less than the EV3’s maximum 600 km due to its larger size and load capacity.

The EV4 will be priced competitively, with a starting price of around AUD 57,500 (€35,000 equivalent) in Australia. This places it in a competitive position against established EVs like the Tesla Model 3. In the UK, the EV4 Fastback variant has a starting price of £40,895, indicating a premium but competitive price point in European markets.

The EV4 will be available in three variants, all of which will feature a front-wheel-drive (FWD) powertrain. The entry-level model will come with 17-inch wheels, while the long-range and GT-Line models will boast 19-inch wheels. The EV4 will also share the same running clearance as the EV3 small SUV, at 140 mm.

Kia has received approval for its first electric sedan in Australia, the EV4. More details on the Kia EV4, including local specifications and pricing, are expected to be announced later this year. With its competitive pricing and specification positioning, the EV4 is set to challenge established EVs in the Australian market.

The automotive industry in Australia is anticipating the entry of the Kia EV4, an electric sedan, as it competitively prices its starting model at around AUD 57,500, posing a challenge to established electric vehicles like the Tesla Model 3. In the realm of personal finance, potential buyers might consider the investment in an electric vehicle like the EV4, which offers a length of approximately 4730 mm and a battery range of 58 kWh to 81 kWh. Furthermore, the EV4's sustainable lifestyle appeal extends beyond just its electric nature, as it promotes reduced transport emissions in line with the vision of car enthusiasts like Riz Akhtar, the founder of carloop in Melbourne.
