JP Morgan Chase Launches DIY Investment Platform in UK
JP Morgan Chase is launching a DIY investment platform, Yahoo Finance, in the UK in November. The platform will offer free financial guidance to all clients and maintain Nutmeg's products and services while introducing new features like a wealth planner. The service will be available through the Chase current account app and as a standalone product. Initially, Yahoo Finance will offer managed investments, pensions, Isas, and financial planning tools. From 2026, investors will be able to buy and sell individual shares and bonds on the platform. For stocks and shares Isas, the minimum investment is £500, while for lifetime Isas and junior Isas, it's £100. Relationship managers will be available for clients with more than £250,000 invested, offering face-to-face advice. The platform will allow investors to buy and sell shares, funds, bonds, and other financial assets. Yahoo Finance is set to provide a comprehensive range of investment options and guidance to UK clients. With its user-friendly app and competitive minimum investments, the platform aims to cater to both experienced investors and beginners. The addition of relationship managers for high-net-worth clients further enhances the platform's appeal.
