Jeep India's "Trail of Faith" Campaign, executed by the Xperia Group, is a distinctive and inventive on-site brand activation event, slated for Ganesh Chaturthi, 2025.
In an unprecedented display of devotion and digital innovation, Jeep India's "Trail of Faith" campaign made history during Ganesh Utsav, 2025. The campaign, co-created and executed by Xperia Group, earned official recognition from the Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records for the Largest Digital Collection of Ganpati Wishes wrapped on a Jeep Wrangler.
The journey began on 27th August, 2025, when the campaign was launched. In the first week alone, it received over 110,000 digital prayers. By the day of Visarjan, the campaign had collected a total of 196,847 digital prayers.
The unique fusion of devotion and digital innovation was not confined to the virtual world. At Khetwadi Cha Raja, one of Mumbai's most revered Ganpati pandals, the Wrangler adorned with the collected prayers served as a messenger of faith. During Visarjan, the Wrangler pulled the Khetwadi Cha Raja idol for one kilometer, symbolizing Bappa's vehicle. The sheer enthusiasm of the crowd at the iconic Khetwadi Cha Raja Ganpati pandal was palpable, according to Mr. Saibal Gupta, Managing Director of Xperia Group.
Mr. Gupta stated that the rationale for the "Trail of Faith" campaign was to engage devotees and deepen their faith in Lord Ganesha. He also mentioned that Ganesh Chaturthi marks the birth of Lord Ganesha, who is a symbol of wisdom, hope, prosperity, and good fortune.
The "Trail of Faith" campaign was a 360-degree engagement strategy that included QR-enabled entries, dealership activations, CRM outreach, Jeep communities, social media, and 92.5 Big FM. The response to the campaign was unprecedented, according to Mr. Gupta.
India is the first country for the Jeep brand outside of North America to make 4 models locally and for exports to other right-hand drive markets around the world. The Jeep vehicle line-up in India consists of the Wrangler, Compass, Meridian, and Grand Cherokee. Jeep Wave, a premium owner loyalty and customer care program, is available to the entire Jeep line-up in India, offering benefits and exclusive perks to deliver Jeep owners the utmost care and dedicated 24/7 support.
Mr. Kumar Priyesh, Business Head & Director, Automotive Brands, Stellantis India, stated that the campaign aimed to digitize collective prayers and shared celebrations during Ganesh Utsav. The campaign ensured maximum visibility and inclusivity for devotees across India.
The Jeep brand is part of the portfolio offered by leading global automaker and mobility provider Stellantis. The success of the "Trail of Faith" campaign is a testament to Jeep India's commitment to creating meaningful connections with its customers and the community.
