JAC & Black Sesame Team Up for Advanced Intelligent Driving Platform
JAC Motors and Black Sesame Technologies have announced plans to strengthen their collaboration, aiming to develop an advanced intelligent driving platform for JAC's Sehol series vehicles. The partnership, facilitated by IDG Capital, will leverage Black Sesame's cutting-edge self-driving chips and algorithms.
Black Sesame's HuaShan-2 A1000 series chips, currently China's most powerful self-driving computing chips, will form the foundation of the platform. These chips have successfully completed all necessary certifications for mass production. The initial chip to be used is the A1000 Pro, boasting a computing power of up to 196 TOPS.
JAC, renowned for being Nio's vehicle production partner, will integrate this technology into its Sehol series. The platform will not only utilise the existing A1000 Pro but also be upgradeable to accommodate Black Sesame's next-generation chips as they become available.
The strategic partnership between JAC and Black Sesame, backed by IDG Capital, is set to revolutionise the intelligent driving landscape in China. By combining JAC's vehicle production expertise with Black Sesame's leading self-driving technology, the Sehol series vehicles are poised to benefit from advanced autonomous capabilities.
