IT management solution Auvik unveils expanded functionalities
In early 2025, Auvik, a leading network management solution provider, announced a series of innovative advancements aimed at improving clarity, efficiency, and simplicity for IT professionals. These developments, which built upon earlier enhancements made in SaaS automation, endpoint network visibility, and server monitoring, were the result of close collaboration with customers.
One of the key innovations introduced by Auvik is the Smart Alert Suppression for Auvik Network Management (ANM). This feature aims to address growing IT complexity by providing more intelligent automation and streamlined visibility. By eliminating redundant alerts related to downstream devices, the automated alerting functionality offers technicians more relevant topology insights and clarity during network outages.
Auvik's commitment to continuous innovation was further highlighted by the introduction of Endpoint Network Monitoring. This new feature supports end users regardless of their location or work setup, providing overburdened IT teams with more intuitive alerting and reducing noise to improve focus.
In addition to these enhancements, Auvik also expanded its Server Monitoring capabilities to provide deeper visibility into Windows server environments. The new SaaS Automation and SaaS License Optimization capabilities were added within the Auvik SaaS Management solution in March 2025. The SaaS management client dashboard, now part of Auvik's SaaS Management (ASM) solution, offers a unified control center for security, expenditure, provisioning, and usage insights.
The new ASM dashboard maps relevant information into a single, unified view for enhanced workflows. It also provides direct links to various areas for seamless navigation and oversight. Auvik COO John Astorino stated that these innovations equip IT teams with more actionable insights and a comprehensive view of network alerts.
The company's efforts to simplify IT management were also underscored by the introduction of a streamlined client dashboard for Auvik SaaS Management (ASM). Auvik Network Management eliminates the need for manually creating a network asset inventory and mapping, making it quick and easy to deploy with automation.
These advancements come at a time when the risks associated with gaps in SaaS backups have become a growing concern for IT leaders in the channel. Keepit recently released a survey highlighting these risks. As organisations increasingly rely on SaaS applications, the need for robust, automated network management solutions like those offered by Auvik has never been greater.
