We're enthusiastic about maintaining our legacy and transforming into a next-gen sports organization."

The funds will also finance marketing campaigns, fresh content initiatives, and fan-centric app upgrades. G2 aims to tighten bonds with its international partners, including Red Bull, Oakley, Ralph Lauren, and Mastercard, captivating its fan base tipping the scales at over 30 million.

Jens Hilgers, Al Tylis, and Bluepool, existing investors, increased their stakes in the round, alongside WISE Ventures. G2's powerful ownership group still counts the Tampa Bay Lightning, LAFC, and McLaren Racing among its sports investors.

Konrad von Moltke, Principal of WISE Ventures, extolled G2's leadership team, saying, "Since encountering the G2 management team in early 2023, we have continued to be dazzled by their strategic vision, work ethic, operational prowess, and communication. We're thrilled to be partnering with G2 during their next growth spurt."

Jonathan Wilf, Guardian of Version1, concurred, "G2 and Version1 share a harmonious synergy. Our esports-focused mission is evident in our partnership with G2 and our participation in this funding round. We eagerly wait to add more championships to G2's global fanbase."
