Updated Zeekr 007 Offers Enhanced Performance and Tech for 2025

Zeekr, the high-end electric vehicle brand under Geely Group, has unveiled an updated version of its popular model, the Zeekr 007. While the vehicle's advanced driving assistance system, battery, and electric drive components remain unchanged, the updated Zeekr 007 boasts refined interior and exterior details.

The new Zeekr 007 is available in five trims: Enhanced RWD, Smart RWD, AWD, Smart AWD, and Performance AWD. The entry-level model, Zeekr 007 Enhanced RWD, now comes with 14-way power front seats featuring ventilation and massage functions.

The Zeekr 007 Enhanced RWD also uses Zeekr's 75 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) 'Golden battery', and the upgraded battery option provides a maximum range of 870 km CTLC for RWD models and 770 km CTLC for AWD models.

The new car is equipped with various park assistance systems such as APA, RAPA, and FTP. It also comes standard with LCC+ (Enhanced Lane Centering Assistance) and NZP high-speed autonomous pilot assistance.

In terms of design, the Zeekr 007 features a low drag coefficient of 0.23 with active airflow, carbon fiber front splitter and rear diffuser, GT3-inspired swan-wing doors opening at 70°, and racing-style lighting.

The Performance AWD variant takes performance to the next level with a quad-motor setup (4 × 300 kW axial flux motors) delivering a combined power of 1,200 kW, torque vectoring with 1ms response time, and a 100 kWh ultra-high-density battery pack. This variant offers roughly 550 km WLTP track mode range and 720 km city range.

The interior of the Performance AWD variant is equally impressive, featuring FIA-certified carbon fiber bucket seats, a titanium-magnesium roll cage, a 13" rectangular steering wheel with LED shift lights, 3D holographic track mapping, and an OBD-II race data logger for telemetry.

The standard version of the 2025 RWD Zeekr 007, with a 75.6 kWh battery, delivers a range of 688 km (CLTC), a top speed of 210 km/h, and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds. The vehicle also features dual NVIDIA DRIVE Orin-X chips for advanced driver assistance.

Zeekr plans to roll out Nvidia Thor-U chips and 900V platforms in other models (001, 7X), but the 007's battery and electric drive remain as before this update cycle.

Direct competitors of the Zeekr 007 include Xiaomi SU7, Tesla Model 3, XPeng P7, NIO ET5, Geely Galaxy E8, and BYD Han. A comparison of key strengths, battery & range, performance, advanced tech, and price segment is provided in the table below.
