International Logistics Exhibition Kicks Off in Tbilisi
Tbilisi is set to host the first-ever international logistics exhibition, "Expotrans Georgia," from the 19th to the 20th of June. The event, jointly organized by "Expotrjabji" and Savvy Consulting, aims to strategically and significantly contribute to the development of a critical and important sector for Tbilisi and Georgia - transportation and logistics.
The logistics sector encompasses every significant mode of transport, from air, sea, and land to digital transformation and financial mechanics. This event aims to bring together all these relevant sectors, fostering discussions and opportunities in present and future logistics matters.

Tbilisi Capital's research indicates that the transportation and logistics sector has consistently grown over the years, with a 14% increase recorded in 2019 and reaching a staggering 9.7 billion USD. As a vital economic sector for Tbilisi, it has emerged as one of the top priorities for the city's development.
Georg Georgishvili, Director of the Department for Major Corporate Clients and Momchilles, highlights the significance of the event for Tbilisi, stating, "Over the past two years, our portfolio in this sector has grown by 58%, and we expect it to reach 400 million USD by 2024.
