Luxury Vehicle Sales in Russia Skyrocket in July 2025
Sales of premium vehicles in Russia have experienced a remarkable surge in July 2025, with 73 units sold, indicating a 59% increase compared to July 2024 (47 units). This figure also exceeds the sales in any month of 2024, including August, which saw 50 units sold.
The robust sales trend persisted throughout the first seven months of 2025, with a total of 393 luxury vehicles sold, representing a 25% increase from the same period in 2024 (315 units). August 2025 witnessed 55 units sold, a 10% increase from the previous year.
Rolls-Royce emerged as the leading luxury brand in August 2025, with 19 vehicles sold. The Rolls-Royce Cullinan was the top-selling model, with 11 sales. Bentley came in second with 18 vehicles sold, followed by the Lamborghini Urus with 10 sales, and Ferrari with 4 units. Aston Martin and Maserati each sold 2 vehicles in August 2025.
However, the sales in August 2025 were lower than July 2025, with 73 units sold in the latter month. This demonstrates the strong demand for luxury vehicles in Russia, as even a month with lower sales still surpassed the sales figures of August 2024.
Interestingly, the largest seller of luxury vehicles in Russia in August 2025 was the Chinese automaker Chery, which became the biggest auto exporter to Russia, filling the gap left by Western sanctions.
This surge in luxury vehicle sales in Russia, particularly in the first seven months of 2025, highlights the resilience of the Russian market and its growing appetite for high-end automobiles.
