Improved Efficiency in Industrial Policy Ranking for Sverdlovsk Region

In a recent assessment, two regions in the Ural Federal District, Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk Oblasts, have made a significant impact on Russia's industrial landscape. The assessment, which covered 42 indicators across six categories, was conducted to determine Russia's most effective industrial policy implementations.

The Sverdlovsk Oblast has seen a notable improvement, climbing up the rankings to secure the 6th position. This impressive achievement is a testament to the region's commitment to industrial development and its successful implementation of industrial policies. The Acting Governor of the Sverdlovsk Oblast, Denis Pasler, recently received an award for the best result in the Ural Federal District, acknowledging the region's efforts.

In a heartfelt thank-you speech, Pasler extended his gratitude to industrialists, ministries, and workers for their contributions to the region's success. The upcoming Innoprom exhibition in Yekaterinburg, the region's capital, will further showcase these achievements and honour young industrialists. Yekaterinburg itself is among the top 100 cities with high salaries, according to DK.RU, reflecting the region's economic growth.

Chelyabinsk Oblast, another key player in the Ural Federal District, has also maintained its position in the top 10. Despite not climbing the ranks this time, the region's 7th position in Russia's most effective industrial policy implementations underscores its consistent commitment to industrial growth.

The Russian Minister of Industry and Trade has reported an improvement in the industrial policy of the Sverdlovsk Oblast. This improvement, combined with the success of both regions, highlights the Ural Federal District's significant role in Russia's industrial sector.

The government's focus on developing industrial clusters and promoting regional industries is evident in the creation of an industrial and construction cluster in the Khabarovsk Territory and the emphasis on strategic resources like gold. These initiatives underscore the government's commitment to fostering a robust industrial sector across Russia.

As the Innoprom exhibition approaches, the spotlight will be on the Ural Federal District, with both Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk Oblasts poised to showcase their industrial achievements and contribute to Russia's industrial growth.

In the thank-you speech delivered by the Acting Governor of the Sverdlovsk Oblast, Pasler acknowledged the contributions of finance, businesses, and industrialists in achieving the region's impressive results. The upcoming Innoprom exhibition in Yekaterinburg, the region's capital, will feature finance, business, and industrial sectors as key elements, further underscoring the significance of these aspects in the ongoing industrial growth.
