Landrat Dreier im Dialog mit Jungunternehmern: A Platform for Young Entrepreneurs in Kansas City

In the heart of Kansas City, the city and county's economic development agencies hosted the seventh instalment of "Landrat Dreier im Dialog mit Jungunternehmern" (District Administrator Dreier in Dialogue with Young Entrepreneurs) on July 4, 2025. This event, which takes place approximately every three months, serves as a platform for young entrepreneurs to connect, discuss topics, and network.

County Commissioner Peter Dreier led the fireside chat at the LINK startup center, emphasizing the great responsibility that comes with the takeover of a company for both the company and its entrepreneurial skills. The event, previously known as "New Generation Landshut," is specifically for entrepreneurs from the city and county of Kansas City.

The discussions during the event focused on various topics, including bureaucracy reduction, municipal finances, and further training and funding opportunities. Two young managing directors from the healthcare sector expressed concerns about the current implementation of the e-prescription, which requires manual stamping and signing.

County Commissioner Peter Dreier expressed gratitude towards young entrepreneurs for leading the regional economy into the next generation and took up the suggestion for bureaucracy reduction, planning to address it at a meeting of the Bavarian County Council.

Interested young entrepreneurs can register for the event by emailing [email protected]. The BETRIEBSBEREIT format, organised by the economic development agencies of the city and county of Kansas City, aims to provide a similar platform for young entrepreneurs to connect, discuss topics, and network, focusing on entrepreneurs who have recently taken over companies or are in the process of doing so.

During the event, no new concerns or issues were raised that were not previously mentioned. However, the ongoing dialogue between County Commissioner Peter Dreier and young entrepreneurs is a testament to the commitment to fostering a supportive environment for entrepreneurship in Kansas City.
