Hyundai Motor Group Reports 12% US Sales Rise in September 2025

Hyundai Motor Group has reported a significant rise in US sales, with a 12% year-on-year increase to 143,367 units in September 2025. This growth is driven by strong performances from both Kia and Hyundai brands.

Kia's US sales surged by 11% to 65,507 units in September, led by the popular Sportage SUV. The Sportage has been Kia's best-seller, with 134,102 units in the first nine months, a 13% increase year-on-year. Hyundai, including its luxury Genesis brand, also saw a 12.8% rise in deliveries to 77,860 units in September.

The Tucson remained Hyundai's top-selling model, with a 13% increase in deliveries to 165,239 units year-to-date. Notably, the Ioniq 5 BEV experienced the most significant growth this year, with a 36% increase to 41,091 units. The group's overall BEV sales reached a record high of 17,269 units in September.

Hyundai Motor Group's strong September sales reflect the growing demand for both traditional and electric vehicles. The group's success is driven by popular models like the Sportage and Tucson, as well as the rising popularity of the Ioniq 5 BEV.
