High-Tech Regional Headquarters of JAS Middle East Inaugurated at Dubai South
In a significant move towards shaping the future of logistics and aviation in the Middle East, Dubai South has inaugurated the new regional headquarters for JAS Middle East. The new facility, located within the bustling Logistics District, sets a new benchmark for sustainability and innovation in logistics infrastructure.
Spanning 19,170 square meters, the state-of-the-art warehouse stands 14 meters tall and is equipped with 12 loading bays, each featuring dock levellers for smooth and efficient cargo handling. The facility is designed for maximum operational efficiency, featuring racked and bulk storage, three temperature-controlled chambers, and a two-floor office space.
To enhance energy efficiency and reduce operational costs, solar panels will be installed on the roof of the warehouse. This eco-friendly approach aligns with the facility's ESG-compliant status, reflecting Dubai South's commitment to sustainable development.
The new JAS Middle East facility enjoys seamless connectivity to Jebel Ali Port via a bonded logistics corridor, ensuring swift and efficient transportation of goods. Its proximity to Al Maktoum International Airport further boosts its strategic location, making it an ideal hub for logistics operations.
The district also houses a Contract Logistics Zone and EZDubai, a dedicated e-commerce zone, adding to the facility's logistical advantages.
