Wow, here's a kicker! Angela Titzrath, the big cheese of Hamburg-based logistics wonders, Hhla, is calling it quits. Titzrath has locked horns with the supervisory board on this one, and they've agreed to her departure. According to Hhla's statement, Titzrath will stick around until the bitter end, with her final day being no later than December 31.

Titzrath's been running the show for a whopping nine years now. "This transition marks the conclusion of a strategic period," the statement read, "during which Angela Titzrath has played a significant role in Hhla's successful evolution." The search for a replacement is already revving up.

Praise from the Chairman's Mouth

Supervisory Board Chair, Rüdiger Grube, threw Titzrath a bone, praising her for navigating the company into a European network logistics powerhouse and handling the recent changes in Hhla's shareholder structure with responsibility[1][2][4][5].

Since last year's close, the Port of Hamburg Beteiligungsgesellschaft SE, a joint venture between the city of Hamburg and the world's biggest shipping company, MSC, has partnered up to become Hhla's majority shareholder. Titzrath kept her hands clean during the controversy surrounding MSC's entry, orchestrated by the red-green Senate.

In her CEO role, Titzrath aimed to elevate Hhla to a major contender in an ever-changing, geopolitically turbulent industry, and boost the company's value. She reflects on her tenure with a nostalgic grin, "These have been nine tremendously dynamic, yet exhilarating years."
