Global Women's Summit in Berlin: Connecting Businesswomen Worldwide

The Global Women's Summit, held in Berlin from July 3rd to 5th, brought together businesswomen from around the world. The event focused on sustainable leadership, digital transformation, and women's ESG initiatives. Assel Machmudova, a board member of the Association of Businesswomen of Kazakhstan, attended and shared her insights.

Machmudova was one of around 1000 participants from over 60 countries, including around 150 speakers from over 40 countries. She exchanged business cards with representatives of FidAR e.V. and Astrid Maier from Deutsche Presse-Agentur GmbH. The summit discussed main trends such as investments in women's projects, digital financial literacy, climate entrepreneurship, and international women's networks.

Machmudova was inspired by sessions on women in green energy and global IT companies. She noted that, despite the summit's global reach, there is a lack of information on the development of female entrepreneurs in Kazakhstan specifically. A delegation from Kazakhstan, consisting entirely of members of the Association of Businesswomen of Kazakhstan, attended the summit, highlighting the importance of such events for regional networking and growth.

The Global Women's Summit provided a platform for international dialogue on women's leadership and economic empowerment. Assel Machmudova's attendance and insights underscore the importance of such events for fostering connections and promoting women's initiatives worldwide.
