Freight transport innovation in 2025: Langendorf reveals special-purpose automobiles for cargo movement
News Article: Langendorf Showcases Innovative Vehicles at Nufam 2025
At the upcoming Nufam 2025 trade fair in Karlsruhe, taking place from September 25 to 28, 2025, Langendorf will be showcasing three innovative vehicles designed for construction, demolition, and heavy-duty transport.
One of the vehicles on display is the SKS-HS - Isoxx, a three-axle tipping semi-trailer designed for transporting bulk goods. The SKS-HS - Isoxx boasts a thermally insulated body with a loading volume of 24.3 cubic meters, ensuring the safe transport of temperature-sensitive bulk materials.
Key features of the SKS-HS - Isoxx include thermal insulation to maintain internal temperatures, robust construction for durability, optimized design for bulk cargo, compatibility with standard trucks and trailers, corrosion-resistant coatings or materials, efficient unloading mechanisms, and a maximum tipping angle of 52 degrees.
The vehicle is manufactured with fine-grained steel and Hardox steel of type HB 450, ensuring strength and longevity. It also features four LED work lights in the loading shaft for improved visibility under poor lighting conditions.
The technically permissible gross weight of the SKS-HS - Isoxx is 39 tons, with an unladen weight of around 6,360 kilograms. On routes up to 100 kilometers, the overhang can reach up to 3,000 millimeters without a special permit.
Another vehicle presented by Langendorf is the Satü 24 - Smart, a low-loader suitable for transporting heavy machinery with a permissible total weight of 43,000 kilograms. The loading length, including a 900-millimeter ramp slope, is 9,000 millimeters. The loading platform measures 2,550 millimeters in width and can be expanded to 2,775 millimeters with side extensions.
The Satü 24 - Smart features wheel recesses with variable depth designed for axle loads of up to 26 tons, and an integrated excavator arm recess for further flexibility during loading. The vehicle also has a technically permissible total weight of 45,000 kilograms.
In addition to the SKS-HS - Isoxx and the Satü 24 - Smart, Langendorf will also be showcasing the Flatliner SB-15 H, an inloader designed for transporting prefabricated concrete components. The inloader features a hydraulically operated lifting swing that lowers horizontally during loading and unloading.
Visitors to Hall 1, Stand D 111 at the Kommunalmeile North will have the opportunity to learn more about these innovative vehicles and discuss their specific requirements with Langendorf representatives.
The innovative vehicles presented by Langendorf at Nufam 2025, including the SKS-HS - Isoxx, will not only be showcased in the construction and demolition sector, but also in the transportation industry, as this vehicle is designed for transporting bulk goods. The technologically advanced Satü 24 - Smart, another exhibit by Langendorf, is specifically designed for transporting heavy machinery, demonstrating Langendorf's presence in both the construction and transportation sectors, as well as the finance industry, as these vehicles signify significant investments in research and development.
