Rachna Kumar Joins ExtraHop as Senior Channel Sales Manager

Rachna Kumar, a seasoned sales and partner development professional, has joined Cloud-native network detection and response company ExtraHop in the role of Senior Channel Sales Manager for Australia and New Zealand.

Kumar brings over a decade of experience to ExtraHop, having previously worked at tech giants like Uber, Microsoft, Fortinet, and Trend Micro.

Before joining ExtraHop, Kumar held frontline channel sales and partner development responsibilities at Fortinet, where she worked across both public and commercial enterprises. In this role, she played a crucial part in driving the company's growth and expansion.

Prior to her tenure at Fortinet, Kumar served as the Commercial Distribution Manager for Australia and New Zealand at Trend Micro. During her four years with the company, she played a significant role in developing Trend Micro's service offerings, managing sales pipelines, and providing partner training support.

Kumar's impressive career trajectory also includes a stint at Uber, where she honed her skills in strategic planning and execution. Her experience at Microsoft is noteworthy as well, where she honed her skills in sales strategy and partnership development.

Simon Howe, ExtraHop's Vice President of Worldwide Channels, expressed his excitement about Kumar's appointment, stating that she will enhance ExtraHop's deep commitment to guiding companies through strategic cybersecurity transformation.

In her new role, Kumar will be responsible for further developing all alliance, reseller, technology, and partnership initiatives at ExtraHop. She will also manage ExtraHop's channel and managed security service provider business, including sales and solutions strategies, market development, and partnership initiatives.

Based in Melbourne, Kumar is well-positioned to drive growth and expansion for ExtraHop in Australia and New Zealand. With her extensive experience and expertise, she is poised to make significant contributions to the company's ongoing success.
