Trowers & Hamlins Strengthens ASEAN Offering with Strategic Hire
Trowers & Hamlins, a leading international law firm, has announced the appointment of Chuan How Tan as a partner in its Singapore office, marking a significant step in the firm's strategic growth plan for its banking and finance practice in the region.
Tan, who co-headed the banking and finance practice group at DFDL's Cambodia office, brings over four years of experience from DFDL's Cambodia office and a year at Mishcon de Reya's Singapore office to his new role. Prior to that, he also gained experience at Malaysian firm Zaid Ibrahim & Co.
Abdulhaq Mohammed, who heads Trowers' Asia practice, made a statement about the strategic investment in the region, saying, "We are delighted to welcome Chuan How Tan to our team. The firm also aims to emphasize a deep understanding of the nuances of each regional market to enhance client service both locally and internationally, and to build a connected network in priority ASEAN markets, aligning with Trowers & Hamlins' broader Asia strategy and local client engagement approach.
