EU-GCC Business Forum 2025: Kuwait to Host 'Together for Shared Prosperity' Event
The 9th EU-GCC Business Forum, themed 'Together for Shared Prosperity', will take place in Kuwait City on November 5-6, 2025. Hosted by Kuwait, which chairs the GCC in 2025, the event is supported by the European Commission, GCC Secretariat General, Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and KDIPA. The Forum aims to strengthen collaboration in trade, innovation, and investment between the EU and GCC.
Organized through the 'EU-GCC Dialogue on Economic Diversification II' project, funded by the European Union and managed by the European Commission's Service for Foreign Policy Instruments (FPI), the Forum supports the Gulf's economic diversification beyond oil and gas. The two-day program seeks to enhance EU-GCC trade and investment, enable SME market access, share regulatory and innovation best practices, showcase clean and smart technologies, and strengthen the participation of youth and women entrepreneurs.
Key stakeholders expected to attend include EU and GCC institutions, government officials, business associations, financial institutions, large corporations, SMEs, startups, academia, and media representatives. The Forum is designed to foster dialogue and deliver concrete, actionable outcomes, underscoring the shared ambition to catalyze the next phase of EU-GCC cooperation founded on innovation, sustainability, and shared prosperity.
