Martinstraße Parking Lot Shutdown starting June 26th
According to Robin from "Essen Diese", the parking lot at Martinstraße will be closed as early as June 26th at 6 PM for event setup work. On the first day of the festival, Friday, Rüttenscheider Straße will be filled with excitement, while larger parts of the street will be used on Saturday. The parking lot will reopen on June 30th, with the exact time depending on when dismantling work is completed.

Rüttenscheider Straße and Access Roads Closed from Saturday Morning
Expect roadblocks on Rüttenscheider Straße between house numbers 92 and 207 starting Saturday, June 28th at 6 AM. Several access roads will also be blocked, and a parking ban will be enforced. Beware, cars parked in restricted areas will be towed away, so avoid the area from dawn to ensure safety. The restrictions will be lifted on Sunday, June 29th once everything is cleaned up.

Public Transportation Face Changes Too
The bus lines are not immune to the chaos. From Saturday, June 28th, at 7 AM, to Sunday, June 29th, at the start of service, the following lines will be diverted:
- Bus Line 142: no service between Alfredbrücke and Wittenbergstraße in the Annental direction. A replacement stop will be set up on Alfred Street 72 towards Kettwig/Velbert, and on Alfred Street 75 towards Annatal. The Martin Street stop will be abolished.
- Bus Lines 160, 161, NE14: Martin Street stop will be discontinued without a replacement.
- NE8: Rüttenscheider Stern stop towards Essen Central Station will be abolished. Instead, the same-named stop at Platform 2 (track area) will be served. Martin Street stop will be abolished. A replacement stop will be set up on Alfred Street 72 towards Kettwig/Velbert and on Alfred Street 75 towards Annatal/Main Station.
- NE8: Girardet House stop will be abolished. Alfred Bridge stop will be established as a replacement. Florastr. stop will be abolished. In exchange, towards Velbert, the replacement stop will be served on Alfred Street 182, and towards Main Station, on Alfred Street 191.
- NE13: Rüttenscheider Stern stop towards Essen Central Station will be abolished. Instead, the same-named stop at Platform 2 (track area) will be served. Martin Street stop will be abolished. A replacement stop will be set up on Alfred Street 72 towards Kettwig/Velbert and on Alfred Street 75 towards Annatal/Main Station.
