Egypt's Tagaddod Secures $26.3M for Global Renewable Feedstocks Expansion
Egyptian startup Tagaddod has secured US$26.3 million in a Series A funding round, led by The Arab Energy Fund (TAEF). The company aims to become a global leader in supplying renewable, traceable, and sustainable feedstocks for biofuels and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) industries.
Tagaddod's co-founder and CEO, Nour El Assal, described the funding as a strategic partnership for scaling infrastructure and technology. The funds will accelerate the company's regional expansion in Africa, Asia, and Europe, with existing hubs in Egypt, Jordan, and the Netherlands, and a growing footprint in Saudi Arabia and other key markets.
The funding will also enhance Tagaddod's technology stack, increase operational capacity, and support larger volumes of certified, sustainable feedstocks. Tagaddod's platform collects, aggregates, and traces renewable waste-based feedstocks from various suppliers, ensuring a sustainable and traceable supply chain.
Tagaddod's Series A funding round was led by TAEF, with participation from other investors. The company's ambitious goal is to lead the global supply of renewable feedstocks for biofuels and SAF industries, contributing to a more sustainable future.
