Downtown intersection under temporary closure, lasting for a span of three days.

A series of repairs at the transportation interchange situated at the intersection of Mangilik El Avenue and Syganak Street in Astana have caused disruptions in the area, as reported on July 13. The repairs, which involve middle layer road repairs at the transportation interchange, are currently underway.

As a result of these works, the right-hand exit from Mangilik El Avenue towards Syganak Street and the right-hand exit from Syganak Street onto Mangilik El Avenue will be completely closed until July 16. This closure may cause traffic congestion, and residents and guests of Astana are advised to plan their routes in advance to avoid any delays.

Despite the ongoing construction, entry to Polyclinic No. 9 remains accessible from Mangilik El Avenue. However, access to the polyclinic via Polyclinic No. 9 has been temporarily closed until September due to the construction works.

The authorities have not yet provided any new information about the Terms of Service, traffic congestion, or route planning. They have, however, urged drivers and pedestrians to stay vigilant, expect changes in traffic organisation, and follow the temporary road signs and direction indicators that have been set up for safety and convenience.

It is essential for users to be aware of the construction-related disruptions in this area and to heed the signage for alternate access routes. At present, there are no official announcements confirming a total or partial closure specifically from July 13 to 16.

The ongoing repairs in the transportation interchange might affect the flow of finance in local businesses, as the disruptions could discourage people from visiting Astana temporarily.

The construction works could potentially hinder the smooth operation of industries that are heavily dependent on transportation, like e-commerce businesses and logistics companies in Astana.
