Walk and Talk Event in Fürth's Veitsbronn District Fosters Local Business Networking

The town of Veitsbronn in the Fürth district played host to a unique networking event, the "Walk and Talk," organised by the regional and economic development office. The event, which attracted around 50 participants, aimed to bring local businesses together for an informal, active exchange in the industrial heart of Veitsbronn.

The day began with a visit to Zachhuber, a traditional joinery boasting over 30 years of experience in interior construction. Here, participants exchanged ideas and insights, with discussions centering on exclusive furnishing solutions and the next generation of the family business. The tour continued to MSI GmbH, a specialist in modular aluminum profile systems, where attendees were given a glimpse into the company's machine parks.

The tour also included stops at KUBA Prüf GmbH, a company known for vehicle testing and its modern working environment, and the Motion Group, renowned for its event technology at large events such as Rock am Ring and concerts by Robbie Williams. Each stop offered opportunities for participants to deepen conversations and strengthen networks.

County Administrator Bernd Obst emphasised the importance of such events for the regional economy: "With formats like this, we create visibility for the regional economy and give impulses for new cooperations." Mayor Marco Kistner also praised the initiative, stating, "Veitsbronn lives from a strong midfield - it's important that our companies get to know each other and network."

The "Walk and Talk" format, with its mix of social interaction, physical movement, and local business exposure, proved to be a hit. The positive responses promise a continuation of the event in other communities of the district. The day concluded with a sociable barbecue at Winkler, marking the end of the tour.

The event not only served as a networking tool but also as a strategic regional economic development activity. By promoting awareness of the diversity and strengths of the local business community, it supports the goal of regional economic development offices to facilitate cooperation, knowledge exchange, and potentially spark joint projects or partnerships. It provides a platform outside formal meetings for entrepreneurs and business professionals to strengthen community ties and integrate local economic actors.

In summary, the "Walk and Talk" event in Fürth's Veitsbronn district successfully fostered local business networking and contributed to regional economic development by creating opportunities for direct interaction, promoting local businesses, and supporting collaboration among local businesses.

Other industries and finance professionals may also benefit from this successful "Walk and Talk" format, potentially expanding networking opportunities beyond the local business community. Furthermore, such events could stimulate collaborative projects or partnerships between different sectors, invigorating the broader regional economy.
