In the first quarter of 2025, a comprehensive analysis by Avito Business 360 specialists revealed significant shifts in the market for professional business equipment. The study highlighted logistics companies' equipment as the leading area with growing demand, followed by an increased interest in laboratory and medical clinic equipment.

Industrial, retail, and logistics and warehouse equipment topped the list in terms of demand share. The Far Eastern Federal District (FEFD) experienced a 64% increase in business equipment sales listings compared to Q1 2024, with 87% of these listings being new equipment from manufacturers and dealers.

Notably, there was a 2.5-fold increase in the search for logistics and warehouse equipment. Industrial equipment led the supply volume, followed closely by retail and beauty salon equipment.

Demand for logistics and warehouse equipment in the FEFD surged by 35% year-over-year, while medical and laboratory equipment saw a 100% and 15% growth in demand, respectively.

Ilya Dudkovsky, Director of the "Avito Business 360" business segment, acknowledged the platform's unique opportunities for business representatives, offering over 575 types of equipment. He emphasized that approximately two-thirds of SMEs use Avito to find professional equipment, with over 66% of them choosing new equipment that totals 87% of all offerings.

Regarding the regional demand leaders, industrial equipment led with a 24% share, followed by retail equipment at 24%, and logistics and warehouse equipment at 20%. Catering equipment and beauty salon equipment also made the top five, with shares of 13% and 7%, respectively.

Demand for business equipment remained high across various regions in Q1 2025. Moscow, Tula, Krasnoyarsk, Lipetsk, and Simferopol were among the top regions experiencing demand growth, while Simferopol recorded the largest increase at 6%. Kazan demonstrated the highest year-over-year growth in offer volume, with a threefold increase.

Overall, the current trend in demand for professional business equipment is driven by factors such as manufacturers increasing equipment spending and the expected stabilization of the industrial sector by the end of 2025. However, economic uncertainties, such as tariffs and geopolitical issues, continue to impact the market, potentially affecting demand for specific equipment types.
