This long-distance train service, produced by the Siemens/Škoda consortium, will be backed by major players in the rail industry, including Swiss Railways (SBB) and the Railroad Development Corporation (RDC). The route will run from Basel, through Hamburg, all the way to Copenhagen, with the possibility of extending further to Malmö and even destinations in Sweden.

While the project is still awaiting final funding and regulatory approvals in Switzerland, Germany, and Denmark, a seasonal launch in spring 2026 is targeted.
