Developing the economy's expansion and instilling farmers with optimism for the future is crucial, according to Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratyev.
In a recent meeting, the regional head emphasised the importance of maintaining support measures for the agro-industrial complex in Krasnodar Krai for the year 2026. The meeting, held with Uspenskoye rayon activists, was initiated by Irina Nasilevskaya, a local resident who works at a farm that engages in plant cultivation.
The focus of the meeting was the regional program titled "Development of rural housing and regulation of markets for agricultural products, raw materials, and food." Andrey Korobka, the regional deputy in charge of the agro-industrial complex, reported on the progress of this program. He also touched upon a regional program for rural housing and agricultural product markets.
Veniamin Kondratyev, a regional official, emphasised the importance of maintaining economic growth for farmers. He stated that all programs of state support for farmers will be maintained in full. However, he did not specify the exact nature of the support measures for the agro-industrial complex.
It is known that in 2021, over 1.1 billion rubles were allocated for subsidies, and the same amount is planned for 2026. Producers of grain crops can receive subsidies within the regional program. These subsidies help cover part of the production and sales costs of grain crops. Irina Nasilevskaya, inquired about the continuation of the state support for the sale of grain and leguminous crops, but no specific details were provided.
The Krasnodar Krai administration press service reported these figures for the allocation of funds for subsidies. However, official regional government publications or the Krasnodar Krai Ministry of Agriculture documents for 2026 do not provide explicit details about the state support programs for grain and legume crop farmers in Krasnodar Krai in 2026.
The search results focus primarily on aggregated grain production data for 2025, wheat yield forecasts, and related broad agricultural market trends within Russia but not on targeted subsidy programs or farmer assistance frameworks by region or crop type for 2026. Nonetheless, the meeting indicates a commitment to maintaining support for the agricultural sector in the region. More details about the specific support measures for farmers in 2026 are expected to be announced in due course.
