DAS Solar's Pioneering Zero-Carbon Factory to Revolutionize Coastal Cities
DAS Solar is set to construct China's pioneering zero-carbon factory in Dongshan County, harnessing solar energy. This significant project aims to serve as a demonstration for sustainable energy use in coastal cities with land scarcity.
The initial phase of the 6.6 GW solar energy project is already underway, with the second phase slated for completion in 2023. Upon finishing, this phase will boast an annual production capacity of 3.6 GW. DAS Solar has commenced operations at its 3 GW n-type module manufacturing facility in Dongshan, China.
By the close of 2022, DAS Solar anticipates a cumulative production capacity of 20 GW for high-efficiency n-type solar cells and a matching capacity for n-type modules. The company has secured funding to expand its solar cell and module production capacity to a staggering 60 GW over the next three years.
DAS Solar's ambitious zero-carbon factory in Dongshan County is poised to revolutionize renewable energy generation and consumption in coastal cities. With a planned production capacity expansion to 60 GW, the company is committed to driving sustainable solar energy solutions.
