iHeartMedia Announces Dan Lenz as New Market President for Milwaukee

Dan Lenz has been appointed as the Market President for iHeartMedia's Milwaukee cluster, effective from July 2025. In his new role, Lenz will oversee all aspects of the cluster’s operations, including sales, programming, and partnerships for multiple local and national brands.

Lenz joined iHeartMedia in 2017 and has been a significant contributor to the company's success in the Milwaukee/Racine market. His previous role was as the Senior Vice President of Sales, where he demonstrated strong leadership and contributed to the company's market success over recent years.

In his new position, Lenz will manage all operations of the iHeartMedia cluster in Milwaukee. This includes classic hits 95.7 WRIT, country 106.1 WMIL, R&B 100.7 WKKV, news/talk 1130 WISN, sports 97.3 WRNW, and sports 920 WOKY. His responsibilities now significantly broaden from sales leadership to managing the entire market cluster’s business operations, with a focus on supporting the community and delivering strong results for clients.

Nick Gnau, Division President of iHeartMedia, has acknowledged Lenz's significant contribution to the company's success in the Milwaukee/Racine market. Lenz's leadership is credited with contributing to the company's success, and he aims to leverage the strength of the sales team, programming professionals, and iHeartMedia’s resources to advance growth and market presence.

Jeff Tyler, the former Area President for iHeartMedia’s Milwaukee and Madison markets, retired after a long career in June 2025. Lenz replaces Tyler in this role.

iHeartMedia owns and operates these stations in the Nielsen number 44 market, ranking it as one of the top radio markets in the United States. The success of iHeartMedia in this market is attributed in part to Lenz's work.

Lenz's promotion is an internal move within iHeartMedia, reflecting the company's commitment to nurturing talent from within its ranks. As he takes on his new role, Lenz looks forward to continuing to serve the Milwaukee community and delivering exceptional radio experiences for listeners and clients alike.
