Unsettled Six-Figure Dispute: Lilly Becker Challenges Court Ruling

Contentious Claim for Large Sum - Lilly Becker Launches Appeal Process - Contentious Claim for High Amount - Lilly Becker Pleads for Review

Here's the skinny: Lilly Becker and tv honcho Pierre Uebelhack are locked in a heated disagreement over whether a hefty sum of €489,869.12 was a thoughtful gift or a loan. This bone of contention landed them in a courtroom, where at least a portion of the dispute was settled in April.

Back in February during a settlement hearing, the recent Amazon Jungle Queen contended that her alleged ex-flame showered her with the hefty dough with no strings attached. But Uebelhack argued that it was a financial lifeline, doled out to help Becker weather a tricky financial storm, and insisted she should flip him the cash. Fast forward to April 16, the Munich Regional Court handed Uebelhack a victory, and he's collecting his dough. Rumor has it Uebelhack's seeking €154,733 more, and he claims he lent an additional €27,961 to his ex - not to mention €32,248.19 in interest and legal fees amounting to €3,311.18.

But the 48-year-old Becker's not ready to throw in the towel just yet. According to the buzz, she filed an appeal against that verdict, and time was of the essence – she had until May 16 to take action.

Becker Insists it's a Love Gift

Uebelhack and Becker reportedly started a fling in 2018 – at least that's what Becker claims. But Uebelhack's singing a different tune – he allegedly denies having a steady relationship with the moderator. Still, it's said he extended a whopping €489,869.12 loan to help Becker in her time of need. Her ex-hubby Boris Becker supposedly set a repayment deadline for August 31, 2022, but Becker insisted the dough was a love token bestowed during their romantic tryst. Uebelhack, on the other hand, claims there are signed loan agreements to validate his claim. Becker countered that her signature was digitally manipulated in court.

The presiding judge, Robert Engelmann, weighed in during April, ruling that "the defendant has not been truthful." Engelmann believed that based on the evidence presented, the dough that was transferred without question was not a gift, but a loan, thus it's assumed it must be paid back. At the time, RTL's court spokeswoman Cornelia Kallert explained, "The judge is convinced, based on the evidence, that the money that was undisputedly transferred was not a gift, but a loan. Therefore, he assumes that it must also be repaid."
