Completion of the road situated in the "Am Hüttenbrink" industrial district
In the heart of Gütersloh, preparations are underway for a significant change. On Monday, 15th September 2025, the city will witness the commencement of construction for a spur road in the "Huttenbrink" industrial area.
The construction work will focus on the section between house numbers 120 and 124c, and it's noteworthy that this project will utilise climate-friendly cobblestones for the paving of the new spur road.
Simultaneously, a partial closure of "Huttenbrink" towards Spexarder Straße will be implemented at the entrance. This closure is not related to the construction work but is scheduled for the same date.
The city authorities have announced that the construction work is expected to be completed by the end of October. However, they also caution that traffic inconveniences may occur during this period.
Understanding is requested from the public as the construction work necessitates a full closure of the spur road for the duration of the project. Regrettably, no information has been provided regarding the reopening of the roads after construction.
The city administration urges patience and cooperation from the residents and commuters during this time, as they work towards improving the city's infrastructure.
