Commencement of manufacture at Armavir facility for groundbreaking heat-resistant containers
In an effort to bolster the economy and stimulate growth, Governor Veniamin Kondratyev recently visited the "Gornitsa" factory in Armavir, Krasnodar Krai, on August 5.
The visit marked a significant milestone for the factory, one of the largest producers of aluminum cookware in the country. The latest development is the launch of a new plant, which is part of the factory's modernization and growth strategy.
The new plant, set to launch in August, will specialize in the production of heat-resistant glassware, making it the only one of its kind in Russia. This expansion will enable the production of over 3.7 million glass lids, along with microwave oven and oven glassware, contributing to the annual production of heat-resistant glassware in the country.
The new plant's production is expected to cover up to 50% of the Russian market for heat-resistant cookware, marking a significant step towards import substitution.
The "Gornitsa" factory, established on an idle site for scrap preparation, has become a success story, despite challenging economic conditions. The factory currently operates one furnace capable of producing over 400,000 items per month. With the launch of the new plant, this number is set to double.
The factory's growth strategy includes plans for modernization, investment in technology, job creation, and product line diversification. The regional government, under Governor Kondratyev's leadership, has expressed strong support for these initiatives, including facilitating necessary permits and providing economic incentives.
Governor Kondratyev emphasized the importance of reviving and modernizing such territories instead of building on them. He has announced continued support for industrial enterprises that produce results, as stated in a post on Telegram.
The factory participates in the "Labor Productivity" program of the "Effective and Competitive Economy" national project. It has received over 466 million rubles through regional programs and low-interest loans from the Krasnodar Region Industrial Development Fund.
The new production will be showcased on social media platforms such as "VKontakte" and "Odnoklassniki". The "Kuban 24" internet portal reported that Veniamin Kondratyev visited Armavir on August 5 for a working visit.
In conclusion, the Gornitsa factory is poised for growth through modernization, technological advancement, and increased local employment, supported by regional government initiatives following the governor’s visit. The factory's success story serves as a testament to the potential for growth and development in the region.
The new plant's launch in the "Gornitsa" factory, a key player in the manufacturing industry, is financed through regional programs and low-interest loans from the Krasnodar Region Industrial Development Fund. This expansion will not only double the factory's production capacity in the cookware business but also introduce a unique line of heat-resistant glassware in the Russian finance sector, thereby contributing to import substitution and stimulating growth in the business and economic sectors.
