Central Vietnam Airports Reopen After Typhoon Bualoi Disruptions

Four key airports in central Vietnam - Phu Bai, Dong Hoi, Tho Xuan, and Da Nang - have resumed operations after being shut down due to typhoon Bualoi. Airlines Group flights experienced disruptions during the storm, with passengers advised to stay informed via their respective airlines like United Airlines, American Airlines, Delta, or Southwest Airlines.

The storm, which hit on September 29, led to significant flight changes. On September 30, 53 flights were held and 37 diverted at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi. The previous days saw varying impacts: 42 flights were rerouted on September 26, 181 on September 27, and 92 on September 28. Notably, 181 flights were rerouted on September 27, with five landing at alternate airports and one departure cancelled at Da Nang International Airport. The storm also forced one flight to divert on September 30.

Typhoon Bualoi caused substantial flight disruptions in Vietnam, with over 350 flights rerouted and numerous cancellations. The reopening of the four airports in central Vietnam signals a return to normal operations, with airlines and passengers urged to monitor updates for the latest flight information, including Google Flights, to stay informed about their flights.
