Business gathering hosted by Club coincided with a meal at Locanda, an Italian eatery in Moscow, on May 20. The recently settled attendees exchanged introductions, deliberated on event formats and themes, and aired opinions about business interchanges and networking.

Business meeting, styled as open discussion, was hosted by organization Club at their venue.

In a revealing discussion, Dmitry Ozman, President of our ranking publication's website club, outlined the inception and growth of the community. Established in 2007, the club emerged as an extension of the Russian edition of our website, following a request to create a platform centered around key speakers of the publication.

The inaugural guest was an unexpected choice—Mikhail Piotrovsky, Director of the Hermitage. Subsequent invitations were extended to business luminaries such as Vladimir Potanin, Mikhail Prokhorov, Yevgeny Yevtushenkov, and Tatiana Bakalchuk, along with market regulators and experts.

From its inception until 2018, the club developed organically. However, a new development strategy was implemented, focusing on bolstering the club aspect of the website. Since then, the community has welcomed entrepreneurial minds and top executives, previously restricted to a more exclusive membership.

Sergey Zudin, a renowned club expert, noted the unexpected openness of the closed community. He highlighted productive collaborations, insightful discussions, and prompt responses to his requests by the club staff. Zudin expressed that the unique "chemistry" within the community was key to its success.

A recent addition to the community is the forum groups format. This small, carefully curated group of five to ten individuals aims to tackle pressing issues together, without the presence of mentors or hierarchical distinctions. Zudin shared his surprise at discussing sensitive topics with unfamiliar peers, a testament to the inclusive nature of these groups.

Dmitry Ozman revealed that the club's history was rooted in regular meetings with billionaires, top-rated individuals from the platform, and regulatory officials. The community caters to various formats, including media-style discussions on marketing, communication development, and messenger possibilities. Intimate gatherings, such as business breakfasts and dinners, enable direct interaction with selected experts. There's also a sports direction, featuring recreational activities like padel tennis, running clubs, and cycling marathons. A lifestylecomponent includes wine tastings, gastronomic events, private theater tours, and exhibition visits.

At the event's conclusion, new community members deliberated on the community's media potential and discussed desired topics for future meetings.

In the broader context of Russian business communities, various formats and types exist, some tightly linked to media and ranking organizations. While there is no universally recognized "our website Club," it typifies the mix of networking events, awards, and digital platforms common to many such communities.

In conclusion, the evolution and specific aspects of "our website Club" may not be widely known, but its format shares similarities with Russian business and cultural organizations like the History Club at the Russian House in Brussels. Here, guest speakers, thematic exhibitions, and immersive activities foster connections and knowledge exchange. The presence of various formats and an increased emphasis on specialization, digital expansion, and cross-sector partnerships point to the ever-evolving landscape of Russian business communities.

  1. Entrepreneurial minds and top executives have increasingly been welcomed into the community, demonstrating a shift towards openness and inclusivity at the website club, which is part of the broader context of Russian business communities.
  2. Careers in finance and business are not limited to formal events and media-style discussions at the club, as the community also offers opportunities in sports, such as padel tennis, running clubs, and cycling marathons, and lifestyle events, including wine tastings, gastronomic events, private theater tours, and exhibition visits.
