Entrepreneur extraordinaire, Austin Okere, takes the helm as the chair of the Global Business Practices Council (BPC) for the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The BPC serves as a powerhouse partnership between the business community and academic institutions, working tirelessly to shape global standards and best practices in business education.

The AACSB, known for being the world's largest business education alliance, bridges the gap between educators, students, and businesses, striving to cultivate future leaders. Since its inception in 1916, the AACSB has been a beacon of excellence, with over 1,700 members and more than 900 accredited business schools worldwide.

Upon receiving the invitation, Austin Okere was nothing short of thrilled, expressing his gratitude and acceptance. In response, Becky Gann, Vice President of Global Business Membership and Strategic Relationships at AACSB, welcomed him to the BPC, expressing their eagerness to collaborate with him.

The BPC, composed of 20 corporate executives and deans, promotes an open forum for members to share their expertise, insights, and perspectives to improve business education globally. By doing so, they aim to equip top institutions with the tools necessary to produce high-potential leaders, ready to shape a more prosperous future.

The BPC's mission is to stay connected to the best ideas, thinkers, and practices, and forge partnerships to co-create solutions for some of the world's most pressing business challenges.

Joining Austin Okere on this esteemed council are distinguished figures such as Jake Hansen from Apple Inc., A. Michael Smith of NASDAQ, Molly Nagler of PepsiCo Inc., and many more. Each member brings a unique set of skills and experiences to the table, ensuring a well-rounded approach to shaping the future of business education.

Aside from his role with the BPC, Austin Okere is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Columbia Business School, New York. He has also been appointed to the Advisory Board of the Global Business School Network (GBSN) and facilitated at the United States International University (USIU) in Kenya. Further highlighting his impressive resume, Austin served as a member of the World Economic Forum's (WEF) Global Agenda Council, and was listed on the United Kingdom's C. Hub Magazine 100 Most Influential Creatives in 2016.

In 2018, Austin established the Ausso Leadership Academy, a testament to his commitment to fostering shared prosperity. The academy has mentored over 120 Delegates from approximately 40 businesses and impacted over 1,200 beneficiaries, helping them scale their businesses.
