Bus Traffic Diversion Continues on Wiesbaden Road: Rerouting of Public Transport
The Press Office of the State Capital Wiesbaden has announced temporary changes to bus routes for lines 6, 33, and 9, effective from Friday, September 18, 2025. These modifications are due to the ongoing closure of Wiesbadener Landstraße in Amöneburg.
For those travelling on Line 6 (Wiesbaden direction), the service will follow its regular route, serving the Dyckerhoffstraße stop as usual. However, for Line 6 and 33 (Mainz/Kostheim direction), a detour via Albertstraße, Biebricher Straße up to the Otto-Suhr-Ring/Wiesbadener Straße intersection, and then turning right to follow the regular route, has been instituted. A temporary stop, 'Mudra-Kaserne', has been established approximately 100 meters before the intersection.
Line 33 (Mainz/Kostheim direction) will continue straight after 'Bahnhof Wiesbaden Ost' detour and resume its regular route. Line 9 (both directions) will experience a detour between Niederbergstraße and Ruthof stops, rerouting buses in both directions via Biebricher Straße.
All stops along the detours for lines 6, 33, and 9 will be served. Travelers are advised to consider these changes when planning their journeys and allow for extra time if necessary.
Additional information is available at the affected stops' timetable displays. Current timetable information can be found on the interactive network map at our website.
