Buffalo Wild Wings Selects Anomaly as Its New Advertising Agency of Preference
New and Improved Version
Buffalo Wild Wings' fresh CMO, Tristan Meline, is shaking things up by teaming up with Anomaly - a marketing powerhouse with a cozy relationship with Inspire Brands. Anomaly, who's already got Jimmy John's on speed dial, has been cooking up strategies for Inspire Brands for quite some time, with Dunkin' previously on their plate (until Leo Burnett snatched it away earlier this year).
This win builds more bridges between Anomaly and Inspire Brands, a connection strengthened by their shared love for tasty fast food and successful marketing campaigns. The Stagwell shop, crowned Adweek's 2022 U.S. Agency of the Year, took home the top prize in a hotly contested in-house pitch run by Buffalo Wild Wings.
Meline slipped into the CMO chair back in January, replacing the former vp of brand management and innovation. Buffalo Wild Wings and Anomaly's dance in the spotlight began as early as 2018 when Inspire Brands swooped in to claim Buffalo Wild Wings, a beloved sports bar and wing joint.
Although Inspire Brands and Buffalo Wild Wings keep their cards close to their chest, some industry whispers suggest that Anomaly may have stepped onto the sports bar's stage as their go-to marketing guru. But for now, we'll just have to wait and see how this delicious partnership serves up wing-tastic results!
- With the new collaboration between Buffalo Wild Wings and Anomaly, Tristan Meline anticipates significant growth in the business finance portfolio of the sports bar, given Anomaly's successful marketing history.
- The alliance between Buffalo Wild Wings and Anomaly, extended from 2018 when Inspire Brands acquired the sports bar, could potentially lead to successful marketing campaigns and financial boosts in the portfolio for both parties.
