British Embassies Launch Latin America Prosperity Fund Bid
The British Embassies in Bogota, Santiago, Lima, Panama City, San Jose, and Buenos Aires have launched a call for concept bids for the Latin America Prosperity Fund, focusing on Openness and Sustainability. The deadline is 14th February, 5:00 pm local time, with projects lasting one to two years starting in April 2014.
Projects should promote transparency, structural economic reform, reduce trade barriers, improve business environments, and support low carbon energy and sustainable urban development. Funding is confirmed yearly, with projects expected to be around £30,000 - £50,000 plus co-funding. Proposals must align with the Programme Strategy and have a strong element of co-funding.
The Latin America Prosperity Fund aims to promote global growth by supporting projects that contribute directly to its thematic areas. Embassies in six Latin American cities are accepting bids, with the deadline fast approaching.
