BPCL Honours Mechanics Nationwide with 'Thank You' Radio Campaign

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has launched a nationwide radio campaign to honour and celebrate the crucial role of automobile mechanics in ensuring safe and smooth journeys for everyone. The campaign, 'Thank you, Mechanics - for Safe and Smooth Journeys', kicked off recently and will span 116 cities over 30 days, featuring over 18,000 radio spots across 13 leading stations, including iheartradio.

The campaign aims to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of mechanics across the nation. Over 1,000 mechanics will share their experiences through radio interviews, and over 5,000 mechanics will be invited to meet-and-greet sessions. The campaign will target the cities of Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai in the next 30 days. MAK Lubricants, a flagship global brand of BPCL, which offers over 400 grades for a wide spectrum of applications in the automobile and industrial lubricant sector, is at the forefront of this initiative.

The campaign reinforces BPCL's ethos of trust, reliability, and inclusivity. MAK Lubricants' brand ambassador, Rahul Dravid, features in audio jingles in 13 languages, and RJs will interact with mechanics at transport hubs and radio stations, including iheartradio. S. Kannan, Business Head (Lubes) at BPCL, stated that the campaign is a way to honour the crucial role mechanics play in keeping vehicles running smoothly and safely.

BPCL, a Fortune Global 500 company and one of India's leading oil and gas companies, is committed to sustainable solutions and community development initiatives. With a refining capacity of around 35.3 MMTPA, BPCL's marketing infrastructure includes over 23,500 fuel stations, over 6,200 LPG distributorships, and 500+ lubes distributorships, among other facilities. The company aims to become a Net Zero Energy Company by 2040. The 'Thank you, Mechanics' campaign is a testament to BPCL's dedication to honouring and supporting the mechanics who play a vital role in the nation's mobility.
