Board modifications announced by Patriot Battery Metals
In a significant move for the battery market, Aline Côté has been appointed as an independent director to the board of Patriot Battery Metals Inc., effective July 30, 2025.
Aline Côté, a highly respected executive in the mining sector, brings over 27 years of international experience in mining, including exploration, technical services, and operational leadership. She started her career at Noranda Inc. and progressively held senior roles at Xstrata plc and Glencore International AG. From 2014 to 2019, she was Head of Zinc Mining Technical Services at Glencore, then became the company’s first female Industrial Lead, managing global Zinc and Lead industrial assets.
Côté also served on the boards of Kazzinc and Trevali Mining Corporation, chairing the Technical Committee at Trevali. Academically, she holds a B.Sc. in Geology and an MBA from Université du Québec, with postgraduate training at Laurentian University.
